New Nephew!
This morning we got a new addition to our family. He was 9 pounds and 9 ounces. He the cutest, chubby baby with a head full of hair. They haven't officially named him yet, but they are leaning towards Nathan.

Happy 17th Birthday Ashley!
Today is Ashley's 17th birthday. I can't believe how old she is getting. It does not seem that long ago that she was obsessed with Winnie the Pooh, and her favorite show to watch was Barney.
At a very early age she was given trials that others don't deal with until their older, and she has handled them the best that she can. I admire her strength and her love for her faith.
Here are some of my favorite memories of my little sister:
*I remember when she was in 2nd grade, she kept telling me that she could not see the chalk board in class, and I did not believe her and told her she just wanted glasses because her friend had them. Then I received a call from the school nurse confirming her bad eye site. I knew then that she was to be taken seriously :)
*Last year for her 16th birthday, she had been wanting to just go to Vegas and go shopping with friends. But when she heard that a family in our ward were going through the same struggles as she did when she was younger. She wanted to do something for them. She took the money for her birthday and bought the kids presents. She had a friend over for a sleep over they wrapped the presents and left them on the front door step. I was so proud of her.
*She was able to write her name at 3 years old. I still have the paper she gave to me.
*She use to go to work with me on Saturdays when I worked at the library. She would read to any kids that came in. She loves books!
*She went sliding down our stairs in a sleeping bag, and sprained her ankle!
*She played with Barbies until she was in 6th grade. She would always call me at work and ask if she can play Barbies. And she knew I hated it, because of the mess.
*The night we played hide and seek in the dark, and she tipped a mattress on Paola.
*Ice skating in Reno, need I saw more?
*Making music video's with Vanessa.
Obviously I could write for hours on this girl. I am so happy to have you as a sister and I will always be there for you. I hope you have a great day!

2. Real tree or Artificial? Real, I love the smell. There have been years when I was about to get fake though.
3. When do you put up the tree? The first Saturday of December.
4. When do you take the tree down? I like to wait until the day after New Years
5. Do you like eggnog? Yuck..no

6. Favorite gift received as a child? There were these dolls call "My Child" and they stood up, I got one and she had black pig tails. I loved it.

Thanksgiving Weekend
I had four days off for the Thanksgiving holiday, and I was so excited. It went by really fast because we kept pretty busy. This year we spent Thanksgiving with Mandy and her family, Doz and his friends were there too. The dinner was so good as always, and I was very stuffed. It was fun spending time with each other. After dinner the girls made plans for black Friday shopping, and the boys played xbox, of course! This is the best picture of the bunch, Doz our pie baker.

That night Paola and Bubba came to stay the night with us because Paola was going shopping with us the next day. Now we knew we had to get up at 4am to hit the stores, but we couldn't go to sleep. We finally went to sleep at 2am, and got 2 hours of sleep. It was pretty crazy, but we got everything we wanted. Mandy, Paola, and Ashley hit Wal Mart at 5am, while I saved us a spot at Target. Good thing I did, the line for Target by the time they got there was all the way past Lowe's, and as always it was an adventure. Ashley recorded a video the whole time she shopped. It's 7 minutes long, but she will post it on her blog.
Then on Saturday Ashley, Allan, and Bubba went up to Beaver Mountain to cut down some Christmas trees. We are going to try to sale them this year. We will see how it works out, those three worked very hard and brought back 33 trees. We are selling them at Paola's mom's house. Down in Overton you don't need a permit to sale them. It was fun for us all to get together. Here is Mandy and Carter checking out the trees.

Twilight times 2
We did it! Ash and I was able to watch Twilight two times in two days. We got tickets to opening night about a month ago. Then the company I work for rented out a theater just for our Christmas party, it was for Twilight again. This was a big deal for Ash and I and we felt a custom made T-shirts were in need. We wanted something different other than "team edward" or "bite me". So we decided to make Cullen Baseball. I am so glad we did because the baseball scene was my favorite scene in the movie. I thought the movie was good! I was happy with the way they they kept a lot of the dialogue from the book, and I am so happy to get to see the scene when Edward walks into the cafeteria twice. I think it took my breath away. Oh and it was really funny when Edward got to smell Bella for the first time. I will do my best to be patient for when it comes out on DVD so I may watch it over and over again. I hope everyone has a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Holy Twilight!
What did I do this weekend? Well it was a nice cloudy weekend, and I love to bundle up with a blanket and read a book. My sister has been trying to get me to read Twilight, as well as Carie and Beth.
So I decided to read it. I could not put it down, I didn't get anything done in the house, and barely put it down to go to the bathroom. I now see what everyone has been talking about and don't know why I waited so long to read it.
Other than Bella being really whiny, and me trying to find out what Edward sees in her, it was a great book. I have always been a sucker for clean romances, and this was more than that. I am now equally excited for the movie.
Dave bought Ash tickets for opening night. At first I begged her to find a friend to take, now I am patiently waiting for her friend to back out. ;)

Halloween Weekend!
What a busy but fun weekend. I hope everyone had a fun Halloween. Friday at work we some cute visitors to come in and show us their costumes. They were so cute. We had Emma as Wonder Woman, and Jacob as Spider man.
Then Brayden as a monkey!

Dylan as a mummy zombie
And Lindsay as Little Red Riding Hood.
That night Ash and I went trick or treating with Emma & Jacob too. They were so cute, but got tired early which was not bad for the adults.
Mommy and baby needed a break.
I got Duke a chicken costume. The head kept falling off of him though. So this is the best picture I got of this chicken.
The next day we took Lindsay, Emma and Jacob to High School Musical 3. I really liked it! Oh, and the girls loved it too. :) That night I got the girls matching outfits and they modeled for me, did some cartwheels and Jacob couldn't resist the camera too.

And when the day ended Emma made the air mattress look so comfy.
