Snow

I wanted to have one more post before the new year. So since I'm short on time, I thought I would just post some pictures from our recent snow storm. Yes, snow! It was so pretty.

Christmas post coming soon. :D

Earlier this week, we had some crazy fog too. I got some pics on my way to work.
I hope everyone has a great New Years. See you next year.

I have been loving this weather!

I couldn't really think of a good title for this blog, so I thought I would just say how I'm feeling. I love this weather.

This last weekend we got to do some holiday fun. I DID NOT get any pictures on Thanksgiving. How sad is that? We will just have to have our memories. We even braved Black Friday again, and that was interesting.

Anyways back to this last weekend. Emma's school choir performed at the Tuacahn Saturday Market. She did so good and was all smiles the whole time.

That afternoon Lindsay danced at the Dickens Festival. I love the Dickens Festival, I just hate how crowded it gets. The way it's set up is crazy, and it takes a good 15 minutes to get to the back to the stage. There are lots of fun booths and stores, just a little crazy.

Lindsay was a little nervous/shy right before her dance started.
Queen Victoria was there, so the girls got a picture. Allie didn't seem to mind.
That evening was Jacob's last basketball camp day. I had the chance to go and take some pictures. He's really good, I was surprised how well he shoots. He might be a player like his mom and dad.

Look at that crazy hair (above)

The weekend of Thanksgiving we put up our tree. Ashley put some boxes together the same day and the kids loved them. They called it Miles Box City. The kids played for it days afterwards, then mom had to throw it away.

I hope everyone is having a fun holiday season. It's my favorite time of the year!

Niece or Nephew Number 9

That's right, I am going to be an aunt again! My brother Fernando aka Doz will be a dad soon! We are all so excited for him. We all know he is going to be an amazing dad. The other kids LOVE him, and hang on him every time he comes to visit.

We are so happy for him and Kristin and know they will be great parents. Congratulations guys!
(I borrowed this pic from Kristin's facebook page, I hope its okay) :D

Halloween 2010

This Halloween was pretty low key for us this year. The Thursday before Halloween all the kids got together to carve pumpkins. We were beating the sunlight. I do have to say we are loving the cooler weather.
Carter and his cute little pumpkin
Emma doesn't look too thrilled.
Ash, Jesali and Allie
Allie was such a good baby and just watched everyone
Nathan, gotta love that smile!
Lindsay, Maddi, and Emma
Ugh, pumpkin goo

The photo above is SO funny! Doesn't the pumpkins face say it all?
Not all the kids made it for the photo, but the pumpkins did.

HALLOWEEN NIGHT!!

The kids were so excited. We went to the neighborhood trunk or treat, then went to a few house for trick or treating.

Lindsay was our 80's girl
Ashley, another 80's girl, Miss Allie the kitty cat, and Lindsay
I love this pic of her yawning.
Maddi dressed up as Shirley Temple

Carter was Iron Man, minus the mask

The Zarate kids were so cute, they all decked out in their army gear.

Duke was a hot dog, it was hard to get a pic of him and he was trying to take it off, of course!

Last but not least, Parker was a fire fighter. He was so funny, a lady at the trunk or treat told him "it looks like you have been fighting some fires". His reply was simply "oh that's just boy makeup".

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! :D

Rewind!

Oh what do you know I am behind on blogging once again. I really hate when I do this. But it doesn't seem to stop me.

What are my reasons for not blogging??

Lost hard drive with pictures on it.

Couldn't find my cord to my camera.

And maybe lazy had something to do with it.

What have we been up to? Well we have been LOVING Ms. Allie

We went to the Dixie State College homecoming parade. Lindsay's dance company had a float.

Waiting for the candy.

Carter and Lindsay helped Ashley clean out the car. The sunglasses are needed of course!

Jacob, Parker, and Carter had a football camp for about two months. They would go down to the park every Saturday and learn the fundamentals of football. Parker and Jacob loved it. Towards the end Carter got shy, but he gave it a try.

Nathan isn't old enough yet but he liked to watch the others.Maybe next year!

We made what the kids like to call "little pizzas"

Just living life.
