4th of July

Well my pictures uploaded backwards so we are going to remember the 4th of July from night to day. :) During that day it wasn't too hot and cloudy which made for good weather, but when it was time to find a spot and watch the fireworks it went all the way down to 85 degrees with a breeze. It was perfect!! It was a nice way to end this day.

Once we found our spot we just hung out in the grass and waited for the sun to go down.

Uncle Bubba put Brooklyn's head band back on for her. ^

And everyone just enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Right after dinner the kids had a red, white and blue treat. Yummy!
The hostess gladly passed them out.

After the girls were done swimming. They decided to dry off and play some cars together. They are SO cute!!

Brooklyn loves to swim and spend time outside with her cousins, so this was a perfect day!

Mandy and I got these cute lace shorts off groopdealz! I decided to get Brooklyn red and saved them just for this day. They turned out so cute.

All in all I think Brooklyn had a great first Independence Day!

Brooklyn is 8 months!

(No smiles for this month)

* We still don't have any teeth.

* She is bathing in the big girl bath tub now, no more baby bath.

* She has discovered how to open a wipe container and she loves just taking them out, she gets the biggest smile on her face when she finally figures it out. It breaks my heart to tell her it's a "no-no".

* She has learned how to drink out of a straw.

* She got a new walker and is getting use to it. She doesn't seem to understand and just goes backwards.

* She is getting more and more hair. We need to comb it now after every bath.

* She is talking like crazy, but not words we understand yet.

* She hasn't started crawling yet, she gets on all fours and just rocks back and forth.

* When she hears music she bounces like she is dancing.

* If something has been taken away from her she knows to cry to try to get it back.
