Too cute to forget.

I had a couple more pictures from my birthday that I didn't post. I wanted to share.

Everyone on the blanket together eating ice cream. This was the first day the kids saw their Uncle Doz, he had just got back from Philadelphia.

Good Movies!

Last night Dave and I went to see The Proposal. It was so cute. I loved it. Besides the fact that Ryan Reynolds is easy on the eyes, he has an amazing sense of humor.



We also rented Sunshine Cleaning. I would recommend this. Its not a comedy, but is a great story. Emily Blunt is a great actress, I loved her in The Devil Wears Prada.

Let's Do A Little Catch Up

This summer has been pretty busy for us! I am so glad it is coming to an end soon. I am still counting down the days.

Ashley's first day of school was two weeks ago. She loves it, and is doing well so far.



We have had a couple more birthdays since I lasted blogged. Mr. Carter had his 2nd birthday on the 17th. He was so cute at his party. He was very gentle opening his presents and would get a huge smile once he saw what they were. He is my favorite blue eyed guy!



Then it was my birthday! I can't believe I am now 32 years old! Time does go by way too fast, and now hair dye has become a necessity on my shopping list.

But other than that. I had a great day! I worked on that day, but friends from work took me out to eat at Pasta Factory (thanks Carie), and then treated me with a cupcake from 25 and Main (thanks Mama Tan). After work my family came over and we had so much fun hanging out together, and playing catch phrase. The kids helped me blow out the candles!



And finally today is my 4 year anniversary with Dave. It seems like its been a lot longer. I am blessed to have an amazing husband that makes me smile, and loves me for me. He has an ability to make me laugh even when its not that funny. I love you Dave!

I have been slacking!!

Man have I been slacking. I tried really hard to make sure all birthday dedications were done on the day of their birthday. Well that's out the window.

July 18th was my brother's birthday, Bubba. He turned 25, oh to be 25 again. We had a lot of fun on his b-day. Everyone came over for a BBQ, and Ashley made homemade Oreo cookies for his cake. With one huge one just for him.

July 19th was Dave's birthday. I know, I know...that's my husband, and I didn't post anything. I do feel really bad. He had to work on his birthday, so when he got off we all had pizza (he's favorite), and made him a chocolate cake. It was the big 30 for Dave, and he handled it pretty well.

I love you so much Dave! We have been through a lot and I never really knew how much I needed you until you left to Philly! But you're back, and I feel a lot better. :D

So this is the only picture I have of both the birthday boys together, with my brother Doz, and my brother in law Allan.


Oh Allan, well let me wish him a Happy Birthday because its today. Yes it's true ANOTHER summer birthday and they are not done.

We are grateful to have Allan in our family, even though you are a Ute's fan!

Last weekend we finished school shopping for Ashley's senior year!! I can't believe this is it. It just seems like yesterday, we were taking her and Josh to their first grade class. They grow up way too fast. I am sure I will be crying on the first day of school.

We had fun shopping for new clothes. Anyone must remember to put your name on the dressing room when you use it. Veeenessa loved her new clothes.
And I must say, I am counting down to the fall season. Last week when we got off of work this is what it read in Vanessa's car. September 21st can't come any faster.
