Hunting for a Tree (November 29, 2015)

With the extra days off after Thanksgiving, we wanted to get out and find a fresh tree. We decided to head out to Pine Valley again. It was way colder than it was last year, and a bit more windy. We drove for a while, and after that Bubba, Ashley, and Dave decided to start climbing the mountains. I stayed back with the kids. We played in the snow for a little bit, then it was too cold. We hung out in the car, sang Christmas songs, and ate lunch.

It took us a couple days to finish the tree.

Then a couple days later, we woke up to this!

Everything fell completely off! It wasn't so fun having to do this a second time. :)

Getting ready for Christmas (November 25, 2015)

The weekend before Thanksgiving Ashley had the day off, and wanted to do Christmas crafts with Brookie. We also decided to put our little tree up since we had some free time. It was so funny getting ready/excited for the holiday season.

Christmas Lights

One night Brookie, Penelope, and I had some time to kill. We decided to drive by Main street in town because they had put up Christmas lights already. Well we got out of the car, bundled up the girls, and looked at everything. They were so cute.

Dance Performances

The Jubilee of Trees was the first performance for the dance year. The girls received new costumes and looked adorable in them. A couple weeks later they had another performance at the Dickens' Festival.

At the end of the dance, each girl runs in the middle of the stage, does a trick and give a kiss. Brookie decided to do a kick, and it was awesome. I love her!

The older girls had the opportunity to audition for America's Got Talent! We are so proud of them. On the same weekend they were in Las Vegas for a dance workshop, they were able to audition.
