Summer Fun

One thing I love about St. George, is all the options to stay cool. Splash pads are great, especially when you don't want to go swimming.

I LOVE this squishy baby!

Zion's National Park w/Uncle Jason

Dave and I have been married for awhile now, and his brother Jason has not been to Utah to visit us. Thankfully for FaceTime and Skype, Brooklyn has been able to get to know him. He has always sent her presents for her birthday and for Christmas, so when he told us he was FINALLY coming down to visit us, we were all surprised. He decided to visit for a couple weeks, and he was also able to go to Bear Lake with us.

When we returned from Bear Lake, he only had a few more days left with us, so we decided to take him to Zions. It was so nice to get away from the heat of St. George again, and it was a beautiful drive.

We saw a lot more animals this time around. Brooklyn loved it!

I LOVE this picture!

Bear Lake 2016

I wish I wasn't so behind on my blog, then this would be a better detail of our experience in Bear Lake, but I am very behind, and I don't want to miss it. We went to Bear Lake for the first time last year, and it was amazing. I am sorry I didn't blog last year's trip, so I am determined to not miss this one.

So this pictures in this blog will not be in a particular order, just how they are lined up on my phone. :) Thank you Mandy and Allan for this fun opportunity again this year.

The first day there, we got in around 3ish, and this was after a long day of driving and shopping. We couldn't believe how hot it was in Ogden, and Logan. After unloading the cars, we took the kids to indoor pool, and let them play.

Day 2

Maddi, Emma, and Lindsay made this amazing mermaid in the sand.

Last year on the last night there, we went to a local Mexican restaurant for dinner, and it was amazing. It was our last night there, and we had so many left overs. Mandy thought it would be a good idea to go out to eat on the first night (we tried to budget dinners, and thought eating out one night would be nice), and if we have left overs we can keep them. It was so good.

We tried to get reservations inside, but since we had so many people, we were outside again. But this year was so nice.

Day 3

Day 4

We hit the local shake shops a couple times.

Last year on the last day, we all went to La Beau's and had one last shake. Ashley made sure we kept that tradition this year.

I got a picture of this bird as I was loading the car early the next day. I didn't want to forget how beautiful it is up there.

WE LOVE BEAR LAKE!
